May is National Foster Care Month, and FosterAdopt Connect is holding a Sock and Undie Drive to stock its Sammy’s Window Clothing Closet with its most-requested items for youth in foster care: new socks and underwear. Their goal is to collect 3,000 pairs by the end of May, and they are inviting the entire Kansas City metro to band together and participate.
FosterAdopt Connect is looking for items in kids, teens, and young adult sizes/styles. Physical donations can be dropped off from 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on May 20 at FosterAdopt Connect’s Headquarters at 18600 E. 37th Terr., Independence, MO 64057 or their Kansas City Kansas location at 901 N. 8th Street, Kansas City, KS 66101. Donations can be alternatively be dropped off Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At either location or HERE!
